This role sits within Customer and Marketing. A Content Designer is passionate about making complex ideas simple. You know that making content easy to understand can transform experiences and make an impact that enriches lives.

As a Content Designer, you'll work with a diverse and high-performing design team. Our team is a wonderful mix of designers (UX/UI/Visual), strategists, technologists, and makers.

What you'll need
Demonstrated writing ability (long-form, copy, communications, campaign work, media)
Excellent writing and editing skills, including the ability to self-edit and produce quickly
Excellent oral communication skills

Be comfortable with ambiguity and asking questions to understand the problem
Work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team with many specialties
Explain concepts in clear and simple terms
Write according to style guides and formatting rules
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centred interaction, or related fields may help but is not essential

If you are someone with:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Journalism, Communication, Arts or equivalent
At least 4 years professional experience as a content designer and technical writer/editor/journalist and other related skills * Write, edit and test engaging B2B and B2C content driven by strategic communications goals and consistent with the client's brand voice and tone
Work with subject matter experts and business stakeholders for expertise-driven content
Continually track, measure, evaluate and improve communication efforts that lead to enhanced customer experiences
Identify the best format for displaying information to the user - if we don't have one, we'll want you to suggest ideas or identify the gaps.
Collaborate and brainstorm with other marketing teams, such as design, UX, analytics and product developers in all phases of the agile product lifecycle.
Collaborate with the team's User Researchers, identify user needs, write and map user stories, and translate these into content.
Use writing and content design skills to create UI text that facilitates user navigation, as well on-boarding, promos, error messages, instructional materials, and other components of the end-to-end user experience.
