As a Copywriter, you will join their content production team - writing and quality controlling of all written product descriptions listed on their eCommerce site. This is an ideal opportunity for a talented junior looking to expand their career in web content writing.
Job Responsibilities:
Conducting research and developing a working understanding of supplier products in order to produce quality written content
Writing, reviewing and editing engaging and persuasive sales copy for online product pages
Writing, reviewing and editing creative copy consistent with their voice and style for their brand pages and a range of other online and offline material
Ensuring that accurate, reliable and comprehensive information has been included in all products, brands, categories and across the entire site in order to guarantee customers a rich shopping experience
Requirements
Essential criteria:
Tertiary education in Creative Writing, Arts, Communication, or related fields
Exceptional eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills to deliver on deadlines
Passion for furniture, lifestyle, design and the latest trends in home living
Touch-typing of at least 60WPM
Excellent working PC/Laptop
Reliable DSL/Fiber internet connection (Speed should be at least 20Mbps for download and 10Mbps for upload)
Desirable criteria:
1 years experience (or equivalent previous internship experience) in copywriting: experience in digital copywriting, and/or short-copy
Experience working in the field of interiors, design, or lifestyle
Furniture sales or retail experience is an advantage
Previous editorial, sub-editing and proofreading experience desirable
Intermediate MS Excel Skills
Working knowledge of Magento
