Mercer is seeking candidates for Consulting & Analytics Leader based in Manila office.
Consulting & Analytics Leader is responsible for initiating, developing and implementing consulting projects in coordination with the Broking services team and regional Mercer teams. Leverages on the health analytics to understand cost drivers and develop programs that will address the increasing premium cost brought about by the higher utilization. At the same time, manages the Analytics team in getting data, cleaning up the data and analyzing trends and other indicators that can help clients understand what is driving the cost, who is driving the cost and work with clients and providers to develop health and wellness programs to cater to the client needs. Responsible for implementing the consulting projects closed by the Sales team and working with the Client Relationship Managers to coordinate with client, manage the project and deliver the committed outcome.

Consulting
1) Set strategy and implementation plan to drive growth in consulting business.
Work with the Health Business Leader in building a sustainable consulting business that will drive profitable revenue growth and development of local consulting strategy and execution.
Work with sales and broking teams on understanding market dynamics, competition, economic factors that can impact the consulting business and come up with a strategy that can be implemented to meet the business goals in short, medium and long term.
Monitor and track progress of initiatives identified to ensure delivery against committed goals.
Lead the team in identifying white space, new solutions or new tools that can attract new clients and cross sell to existing clients.
Contributing as a subject matter expert to the sales initiatives and consulting projects such as benefit plan redesign, benchmarking studies (qualitative and quantitative), alternative funding arrangements (pooling, captive arrangements) health & wellness strategies, analytics style projects.
2) Manage the consulting financials, forecasting, planning and budgeting to drive strategy and vision over the short and long term in coordination with Sales Leader and Broking Services Leader.
Accountable for revenue and profitability of consulting projects.
Drive the strategic planning discussions with the sales and broking teams and put in place actions with accountabilities and monitor progress to the targets.
Understand the aspects of revenue recognition, forecast methodology, short and long term levers that impact revenue and expense, DRO Management, Mercer's revenue cycle and colleague responsibilities.
Analytics
Responsible for the design and implementation of data analytics on the health data to provide inputs in terms of identifying needs, product development and other solutions that will drive the B2BE Initiative.
Provide clams analysis based on the utilization reports for Jumbo clients. Prepares the preparation deck of these reports and if necessary, attend the client meeting for these presentations.
Provide standard claims analysis to Mid Market clients and coordinate with CRM's in the sending of these reports to clients. If necessary, provide analysis for these standard reports.
Generates reports on revenue, client segments, portfolio analysis, provider contribution, broker ranking, etc. that will enable top management to understand how the business is performing.
Responsible for designing and implementation of client satisfaction surveys and other Mercer led surveys which includes tabulation of results and providing reports on the results of the survey. Coordinates the surveys that are initiated at a regional level and is responsible for Implementation of the survey questionnaire to identified clients.
What you need to have:
10+ years' experience in a consulting environment, specifically in benefits/ employee benefits scope
Sales capabilities with a focus on retaining and converting clients
Collaborative style with the ability to lead through influence
Analytics background is a plus
