Qualifications:
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction engineering or site supervision, preferably in residential development.
Strong background in construction project management, site inspections, and administrative reporting.
Experience with construction standards and codes in the Philippines.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, MS Project).
Familiarity with Philippine construction laws, building codes, and safety regulations.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction process.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, plans, and blueprints.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Filipino.
Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, progress updates, and technical documents.
Strong coordination skills with architects, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to resolve site issues efficiently.
Ability to analyze data, track project progress, and propose effective solutions.
Teamwork and Leadership:
Capable of working collaboratively with a project team and managing construction personnel on-site.
Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring junior engineers or site supervisors is an advantage.
Other Requirements:
Must be physically fit and willing to work on-site in various locations.
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when necessary to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Conduct site inspections and ensure that construction work adheres to the approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Prepare and submit detailed administrative reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor construction materials and labor to optimize project costs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant local laws, permits, and regulatory requirements.
