A Construction Engineer is a Civil Engineer who oversees the design and building process of construction projects.
Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects.
Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.
Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections.
Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Overseeing construction engineering processes.
Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
Education
Candidate must possess Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Civil), or equivalent.
Skills& Qualifications
With project management background and skills.
Good oral and written communication skills and can coordinate effectively.
Extensive knowledge of Contract Conditions, Health and Safety Regulations, Standard Guidelines and Specifications, and Local Authorities Requirements for construction projects
Proven Leadership skills, great personality, and has a proactive attitude of resourcefulness
Strong critical, problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking even under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adept in MS Office and other project management tools.
Willing to travel across project sites, flexible with time, and willing to render overtime.
