The Construction Planning Analyst is responsible for producing property reports executes two main functions in support of the property report output: planning and drafting
Responsibilities
Planning
Identify and apply planning regulations to proposed construction site
Liaise with local government councils and statutory bodies to determine easements and overlays applicable to the proposed construction site
Research and develop an in depth understanding of Victorian planning, building codes and regulations.
Apply knowledge and expertise of Victorian planning, building codes and regulations to proposed construction site.
Analyse, assess and document construction feasibility
As part of the sales and construction lifecycle, provide internal advice to other stakeholders within the company as required.
Create 2D drafting plans for site layouts
Produce property reports by combining planning information, spatial assessments and site layouts
Assist internal architect with constructions plans on an ad-hoc basis. This portion is likely to grow over time.

Requirements
Must be an Architecture graduate
Experience with construction administration and planning, preferably, but not essential, within an Australian context.
Ability to liaise with government and statutory bodies and navigate complex administrative processes with energy and determination when required
Ability to read, synthesize and apply laws, codes and regulations pertaining to engineering, planning and construction knowledge domains.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and personality types.
Strong computer literacy with knowledge management tools such as MS Office, PDF editors etc
Ability to liaise with clients to understand their needs through verbal and written communication.
Ability to self-manage and work to SLAs and defined company administrative processes.
Strong spatial and geometric analysis skills.
