Job Responsibilities:
Review provided design drawing configuration and specifications.
Create/revise calculations templates as required per job. Calculations are for miscellaneous steel design. These calculations are for the design of miscellaneous steel, primarily focusing on, but not limited to, stair members, stair frames, rails, ladders, and its connections.
Create/revise sketches or RFIs as required for a specific job.
Review shop drawings from the detailing team and ensure that the details match engineering calculations.
Creates calculations packages by compiling calculations and maps.
Job Requirements
• Graduate of BS Civil Engineering with PRC Civil Engineering License
• At least 2 year working experience in the related field
• Working experience using structural design software STAAD
• With experience in Steel design and knowledgeable in American Code AISC is a plus
• Knowledgeable in engineering applications/software such as MathCAD, TEKLA Structures, and AutoCAD is an advantage
• Excellent in written and oral communication skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Willing to work in Cubao, Quezon City
