About the Business Architecture group:
This role sits within the Enterprise Automation (EA) team which is part of Business Architecture Group. The EA team focusses on bringing best of the automation technologies to create efficient processes for business partners. The team develops enterprise-wide automations to reduce operational risk and improve end user satisfaction. The technology framework consists of market leading tools working in conjunction to create seamless E2E automation. As such EA team plays a critical role in reimagining the future-state of all business lines to support DTCC's modernization initiatives, working collaboratively with Business Units, IT Architecture, Application Development, and other stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Risk, Infrastructure)
Position Summary
As a core member of Enterprise Automation, you will support the team in Robotics Process Automation. The candidate should have previous experience in working in latest version of Blueprism. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with a strong ability to prioritize, own deliverables/timelines, and clearly and effectively communicate with various stakeholders. Success in this role demands the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities, while demonstrating a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
Candidate will be responsible for development relating to existing and new automations including but not limited to reviewing requirements, creating solution designs, developing solutions, and creating required documentation, working with team to gather test data needed, E2E testing, regression testing and tracking/reporting on test results. A working knowledge of JIRA is expected with a general understanding of Agile project lifecycle is beneficial.
Specific Responsibilities
Actively participate in reviewing user requirements
Work with team to create overall automation solution design on BluePrism framework
Create required reusable components as needed for automations on Blue Prism
Develop end-to-end process automation using Blue Prism tool
Update/create documentation associated to automated solution
Work with various teams as part of UAT testing
Manage status of user stories in JIRA
Manage multiple projects based on provided priorities
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of automation development experience using Blue Prism tool on various applications like mainframes, citrix based etc is a must have
Strong understanding of Blue prism design patterns, queue management and exception handling
Good knowledge about Blue Prism operational processes ie control room, scheduler etc
Working exposure to agile methodologies and experience in working in scrum teams
Hands on experience in conducting unit testing and supporting the integration testing for the automations on Blue Prism
Additional Qualifications
Exposure of other RPA tools like Uipath, Automation Anywhere is a huge plus
Understands principles of an Agile framework along with awareness on JIRA tool
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates good interactions with developers, managers, and team members to coordinate job tasks and strong commitment to work.
Possesses ability to work efficiently in both independent and team environments.
