The Quality Assurance Manager - Expense and Asset will be responsible for the overall management of Expense, Accounts Payable-Trade and Asset function. Understands company-wide policies and procedures. He/She will review monthly movement of Expenses and Assets. He/She will monitor aging of Accounts Payable-Trade.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance - Expense
Approval of invoice amount of Accounts Payable Vouchers
Monthly Expense Reporting
Tracking of various cost management projects - per division.
Analyzes top/selected supplier involved in the cost management projects.
Lead in various controllership projects (approval matrix, cost center and location charging, new system, etc.)
Monitoring of Accounts Payable-Trade clean-up thru analyzing of related schedules and aging
Monitoring of ex-deals thru monthly Consolidated Ex-deal report
Monitoring of cash advance policy implementation thru monthly Consolidated Cash Advance report
Preparation of policy and memo (service and reporting)
Reviews audit schedules before submitting to external auditors
Ensures completeness Policy, Guidelines, Memos, Contract and Insurance Database and its financial impact
Quality Assurance - Asset
Approval of Asset Accounting adjustments thru Journal Vouchers
Approval of Asset Disposals
Lead in various controllership projects
Manage inventory thru schedules and lapsing schedule, in close coordination with SSC Asset Management
Monitors Appraisal of Assets, Insurance, Count Result and Spot Audit Check of Warehouses
Monitoring of CIP Projects and its status and inform Company Shared Services of completed projects for capitalization
Reviews audit schedules before submitting to external auditors
Must be a BS Accountancy graduate and a licensed CPA, with at least 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience
Knowledgeable in General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Financial Analysis and Reporting and Internal Audit
Must be knowledgeable of company's policies and procedures, PFRS/Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and tax updates
Must have advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel and PPT.
Has strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with flexibility to think beyond existing procedures, if needed, to achieve better output;
Has good judgment in handling confidential information, able to establish strong interpersonal relationship across levels
Persistent, team player, can handle pressure well.
