Description
WeLink MCS is currently hiring for a Comptroller (CPA - Senior Level) on behalf of a client in the FinTech Industry.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Forms various budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for confirming accuracy, attainability, and capability
• Reviews financial reports as part of official financial statements, which may be scrutinized by external auditors and regulators
• Manages credit control
• Organizes financing and fundraising
• Oversees expenditures and liquidity
• Updates the computerized accounting system
• Manages investment and taxation issues
• Completes account invoices, processes incoming and outgoing payments, and reviews payroll and benefits
• Generates cost analysis reports
• Oversees company's financial policies, procedures, and reporting systems.
• Guarantees that financial records are kept accurately and follow according to internal and government regulations
• Supports accounting managers through different issues and actions
• Works closely with Audit department by providing the necessary documents required for the audits to be completed
• Coaches and mentors direct reports or other staff members to improve performance and ensure that inter-department concerns are addressed as swiftly as possible.
• Accomplishes other tasks assigned from time to time
Qualifications
• College graduate with a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration; preference will be highly given to candidates with completion of a Master's degree in Finance
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Over 5 years of significant and relevant management and leadership experience in a financial management position within a diverse, division-based entity, preferably gained in a financing or banking industry;
• Has high understanding in financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, strategic planning, vision, quality management, forecasting, corporate finance, developing budgets, financial skills, and dealing with complexity
