The Compliance Specialist, will be responsible for the company's full compliance with local, national and other applicable laws/ regulations set forth by various regulatory bodies and ensure the proper filing necessary that will enable the Company to carry out its business operations.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the application and renewal of, including but not limited to, various permits, licenses, certifications in compliance with various government regulations (e.g., PEZA, BOI, LGU, SEC, etc.)
Prepares necessary requirements to process the application and renewal of various permits, licenses, and certifications in PEZA, BOI, LGU, NPC and SEC.
Ensure that the company and its transactions are compliant with the law and issuances of government offices and agencies
Assist with the implementation of legal compliance working hand in hand with the legal team
Consulting with the compliance and legal team and advising leadership and management on compliance matters.
Identify training and development areas and work with the Leadership team to address opportunities.
Identifying, investigating, and reporting compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
Tracking and responding to complaints.
Assists in the retrieval of archived records or corporate documents that are needed by stakeholders.
Assists in the preparation of documents in outstanding audits and assessments
Maintaining records of compliance activities.
Communicating with government agencies.
Preparing and filing compliance reports.
Review, prioritize and redistribute work for better people management whenever appropriate
Ambassador and champion for agile working, including administrative support functions
Provide administrative support as required by the office
Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience in the field of compliance.
Ability to complete tasks on short notice under extreme time constraints. Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Must be organized and must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be people-oriented and an effective communicator at all levels in the organization
Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity.
Willing to act as liaison in processing various permits, and certifications in different government institution
