ACCOUNTING MANAGER
 
Type: Full-time, hybrid
Basic Salary: P20,000.00 - P25,000.00
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
BIR Compliance
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings with the BIR, including income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and other related statutory requirements.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentary compliance across all regulatory bodies.
Other Regulatory Compliance
Assist in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of required submissions to the SEC, BIR and local government units.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, rules, and regulations affecting company operations.
Audit & Internal Support
Support internal and external audits by providing required compliance reports and documentation.
Coordinate with the CFO on compliance risks, process improvements, and policy updates.
Assist in implementing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.
Intra-Company Coordination
Work closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless compliance reporting.
Liaise with government agencies and external partners to resolve compliance-related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or applicable field.
At least two (2) years of relevant experience in compliance, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
Strong knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements such as but not limited to SEC, BIR and local government units.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication skills for dealing with both internal teams and external government agencies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with accounting or compliance software is a plus.
Integrity and high ethical standards.
Proactive to monitoring regulatory changes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
