Job Overview
To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure
all responsibilities associated with the required occupational safety and health (OSH) and requirements of
the different Santé offices/facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Develops and ensures implementation of occupational and environmental safety and health policies,
procedures, rules and regulations.
• Develops and implements communication & training strategies to ensure all knows and understands
the set OSH policies/guidelines.
• Coordinates and collaborates with the Compliance Department and HR Department in relation to the
development and implementation of OSH and other compliance requirements set by the different
regulatory
• Ensures company compliance on OSH related requirements as based on released requirements by
different regulatory agencies in all countries of operations bodies.
• Works with the Compliance Department and HR Department in the conduct of audits on OSH and
compliance across the different areas of operations.
• Carries out inspections of workplace/facilities and takes appropriate action to ensure compliance.
Inspects work premise and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using
protective equipment) to ensure a hazard-free environment in the workplace.
• Ensures that all OSH-related incidents (e.g, accidents, no-compliance, etc.) are documented,
investigated and addressed following the set compliance guidelines.
• Verifies that all safety tools and equipment provided in the different company facilities are working,
adequate and safe for use.
• Conducts OSH related trainings and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency &
crisis situations for both local and international offices.
• Works with the Crisis Management Team and Leader in the implementation of defined crisis and
emergency response plan.
• Prepares various safety related reports, documents and forms.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License
Exam) in Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years' experience in the Occupational Safety and Health field.
• Must be a DOLE accredited OSH Practitioner (Occupational Health and Safety).
• With Proven experience in planning, development and implementation of occupational health, wellbeing, safety and environmental strategies in the workplace
• Highly organized and keen to details
• Should be calm, patient and assertive, with excellent negotiation, communication and
interpersonal skills. He or she should have strong analytical, problem-solving and
organizational skills. Good presentation skills
• Willing to work in Silang, Cavite
Requirements
Minimum education level: Bachelor ́s Degree
3 years of experience
