The Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing filings and compliance support for Assignment Detail Industry: Insurance Job Description Compliance Analyst The Compliance Analyst will report directly to Assistant Vice President, Compliance. The Compliance Analyst is responsible for providing filings and compliance support for the consumer product business units which include Lenders, Travel & Accident & Health. The position requires the preparation and submission of form and rate filings for our consumer products, and certain additional compliance projects as needed. State Filings Coordinate with Underwriting & Actuarial on form/rate filing requirements. File with state insurance regulators forms, rates and rules utilizing the SERFF software application. Oversee and coordinate process for responding to state objections. Oversee needs for extensions, resubmissions, withdrawals with considerations of individual states' restrictions and deadlines. Coordinate and document all activities surrounding the filing, approval, disapproval of all filings with state insurance departments. Regulatory - Compliance Assist Compliance staff with collecting, archiving & logging documentation of other regulatory driven projects & processes such as advertising review, obligor company responsibilities, audits, and regulatory bulletins on sharepoint Skills: Excellent inter-personal relationship skills and the ability to work effectively across a large, multi-dimensional organization. Demonstrates high level of organizational skills and attention to detail. Intermediate computer skills, and knowledge of and ability to use standard industry programs and websites. Working knowledge of insurance principles procedures and best practices. Ability to interpret relevant industry trends and information within the industry and react in alignment with company strategic objectives.
