As part of the RingCentral Product Marketing team, you will help plan, coordinate, implement, and lead all aspects of the ways we share RingCentral's message with the world. You'll use data, technology, and creativity to target, communicate, measure, and adjust with precision- and share the story of a new, reimagined age of business communication with the audiences who want to hear it most.
Summary:
RingCentral is looking for a Competitive Intelligence Manager/ Associate Manager who will be responsible for technical research and mentorship relating to communications and contact center markets.
He/ She will provide leadership and expertise in Unified Communications and related technologies through competitive research, analysis, and insight to uncover and articulate RingCentral's competitive advantage. This role is highly open and cross-functional, requiring regular communication with RingCentral leadership, product management, engineering, and sales.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As the subject matter expert on competition, you can conduct deep competitive research and defensible analysis/proof points and positioning of RingCentral versus competitors' product strategy.
Competitive analysis is accurate, timely, insightful, candid and contextual, resulting in value-adding insight for sales
Lead competitive product functionality deep-dive sessions across RingCentral's offerings with RingCentral's product management, sales, partners, and potential prospects looking for feature mentorship.
Develop, present, and maintain regular sales training for global and regional sales organizations
Provide input to product management and engineering teams to ensure RingCentral remains differentiated and ahead of the competition.
Collaborate with Sales Enablement team to develop and deliver compelling driven training and demo sessions in the form of sales tools
Communicate and evangelize RingCentral's technical advantages overexciting solutions in live training events, external speaking opportunities, analyst briefings, ongoing deals, and other channels
Attend and report on relevant content or announcements from industry events
Infrequent travel required
Essential:
Strong understanding of Market Technology, Telco, or any Industries related
Confirmed experience in providing market level or strategic level analysis for senior executives
Can effectively work with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing
Comfortable addressing executives
Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous projects/results to successful completion (i.e., in a quality and timely manner)
Qualifications:
5-8 years plus of experience in product management, technical competitive intelligence, or sales engineering/consulting (or other technical) roles
Strong communication skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills including listening and presentation skills
Strong analytical skills
Willing to report in Mandaluyong City* on a night shift schedule (e.g. 11 pm to 8 am MNL, Monday to Friday)
Nice to Have:
Experience in a UCaaS company
Deep insight into real-world customer issues, either through previous experience implementing or project handling real-world customer Business Applications (from either the vendor or customer side), as an industry analyst or by communicating solutions at customer briefings, a strong plus.
