Job Description:
Compensation is critical for the governance and recognition of compensation charges such as salaries, benefits, bonus, deferred awards, severance and restructuring across the bank. This role has a global scope, covering all regions/entities, and from a divisional standpoint covers the front offices as well as all the different infrastructure areas. This is a critical role that deals with highly sensitive information. The Salaries, Benefits and Pensions (SBP) Lead for Global Compensation is responsible for the governance of SBP products across the bank.

Your key responsibilities
Oversight of the team that performs accurate and efficient reporting and analysis of SBP costs
Manges the daily operations of the team and works with various stakeholders to implement remediation work and process improvement initiatives
Responsible for the overall validation and control of compensation costs
Ensure that process execution is compliant with the established processes, procedures, policies and legal & statutory requirements
Point of contact for Business FDs and HR Business Partners globally for any insights or clarifications on specific cases and costs.
Perform business analytical review of compensation data to understand behavior and underlying drivers
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
Strong knowledge and understanding of compensation costs including policies governing the proper accounting of costs gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry
Proven experience in driving change initiatives across different levels of the organization
Highly proficient in excel spreadsheets, DBCobra system, and Cogno
Knowledge of SAP R3 and S4, Essbase, and other ERP systems
Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
