Description and Requirements
Functional Responsibilities
Function: Payroll Administration
Oversees the payroll administration function of the company by (1) ensuring accurate and timely crediting of salaries to team members, (2)timely resolution of disputes, issues and concerns with regards to payroll, pay policies or final pay, (3) generating cost projections/estimates for one-off payout activities (leave conversion, 13th month pay, bonuses, etc.), and (4) efficient processing and documentation of final pays.
Function: Compensation Management
Ensures competitiveness of compensation and benefits practices within benchmarked industries by regular participation in total rewards surveys. Recommends changes to C&B policies and practices based on markey results.
Works closely with the Department Director and Manager on design and implementation of new C&B systems, programs or initiatives (i.e. salary structure, job analysis and evaluation, market survey analysis).
Provides management with appropriate market data to make informed decisions on compensation planning and movements (including promotions and transfers), benefits enhancements or new job pricing.
Function: Benefits Administration
Ensures efficient implementation and execution of benefits policies and procedures, as well as compliance to government mandated benefits. Keeps abreast on updates or revisions on regulations that affect the company's C&B practices / policies.
Oversees management of benefits providers as it relates to policy review and renewal, membership, claims or resolution of disputes and concerns.
Takes charge of visa processing and documentation for all team members, both incoming and outgoing.
Function: Clinic Management
Ensures that the clinic facility is properly maintained by ensuring the necessary clinic supplies, tools and equipment are provided and available.
Manages the health and wellness program of the company to ensure monthly/quarterly activities are executed.
Function: HR Hotline
Manages the HR Hotline function by ensuring adherence to committed service levels.
Monitors and tracks reported issues and concerns and provides regular updates. Escalates as necessary.
Function: General HR
Regularly updates and communicates changes to or additional policies, procedures and regulations that relates to Compensation, Benefits or HR systems. Drives initiatives related to CBHRS and HR process efficiency.
Manages team member expectations and understanding of C&B guidelines and principles by regularly conducting C&B roadshows, new hire orientation or the likes.
Provides standard and adhoc C&B reports as required.
Takes charge of efficient budget utilization for his/her respective functions. Monitors costs and expenses and adheres to Finance guidelines on budget spending.
Identifies team member's development, positive recognition opportunities, gives performance reviews, promotes career development within and outside of the team and gives space for personal and professional growth.
