Compensation And Benefits Specialist - Services Team The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like, but not limited to managing employee benefits, particularly Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) programs. The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will use the ZIGZAG Human Resources information systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And will also act as the main point of contact for employees' queries on HR-related topics. The Compensation and Benefits Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations and administering benefits programs to enhance the overall well-being of our employees. The goal is to ensure the Services is running efficiently and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole. Responsibilities Benefits Administration: Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and HMO Process and facilitate employee enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefits programs Communicate benefits information to employees and address inquiries regarding coverage and eligibility Compliance: Stay current on regulatory requirements related to SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other mandated benefits Ensure timely and accurate submission of required reports and contributions to government agencies Employee Education: Conduct orientation sessions to educate employees on benefits programs and enrollment procedures Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their rights and responsibilities under statutory benefits Vendor Management: Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues, ensure accurate billing, and optimize service delivery Evaluate and recommend changes to benefits plans to align with organizational and employee needs Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee benefits enrollment and transactions Prepare and distribute benefits-related communications, including summary plan descriptions Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of policies related to employee benefits and statutory compliance Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations COMPETENCIES Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as an HR Specialist with a focus on employee's compensation and benefits. In-depth knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and HMO regulations and processes. Strong Understanding Of Benefits Administration And Compliance Requirements. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Basic computer knowledge and use of Google Suite and HRIS software. Good knowledge of laws and regulations of the workplace, employment, and labor. Strong communication, people, time, interpersonal, and management skills.
