SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Compensation and Benefits Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering the total rewards program that will enable the assigned business group to attract and retain talent necessary for the company to pursue it purpose, mission and strategy. This position will report directly to the HR Business Partner with a matrixed reporting relationship with the Global Compensation Director
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Co-owns the Compensation and Benefits strategy together with the HR Business Partner and the Site Lead
Conducts/participates in industry benchmarking exercise. Works with management to assess competitive labor market trends. Uses industry benchmark and internal review findings and presents recommendations that aligns with the Global Compensation strategy and guidelines
Analyzes market movement with respect to salaries, for projecting budget increases. Presents the market movement to the Business for insight on projected salary increases.
Develops proposals for compensation, rewards/incentive and benefits programs necessary to drive performance to service level agreements, talent retention and attraction.
Co-designs and administers corporate compensation programs such as incentive, stock options, and bonus plans for recruitment and retention of best talent.
Performs periodic reviews to ensure alignment with the Global Compensation structures and equity with regards to job architecture, salary and benefits
Leads/performs job evaluation activities and ensures appropriate classifications of current and new job.
Reviews and approves job offers. Prepares job offers and extends offers to manager and executive hires.
Owns and maintains the PHL compensation and benefits processes. Acts as escalation point for C&B administration. Maintains contracts with 3rd party C&B providers (I.e. HMO, Retirement Plan, Group Term Life Insurance, etc...)
Supports the Global Compensation team on all data and reportorial requirements
Performs other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time that support Company and Team objectives.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
Graduate of any 4-years bachelor's degree course
7 to 10 years professional experience in leading and implementing the Compensation and Benefits function in a BPO/shared services environment
Mastery in the use of Radford and/or other job architecture framework
Good command of written and spoken English
Savvy in using MS Office Word and Excel
Customer focused and works effectively with others in getting things done
Well-organized and committed to meeting tight deadlines
Ability to work under pressure/challenging working environment
Willing to be based in Laguna
Open to shifting work schedule
Preferred Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Human Resources Management or related disciplines
Post-graduate degree
Experience in a Global Company or a compensation consulting firms
Affiliation with professional networks
