Position Title: Company Nurse
Qualifications:
Must have active license from the Professional Regulation Commission of the Philippines
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of work experience as a nurse in either private or public organization
Preferably completed training in any of the following:
Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)
Standard Basic Life Support and First Aid + CPR/AED training
Relevant programs for occupational health and wellbeing
Must have basic technical proficiency in Google and Microsoft suites
Has good oral and written communication skills in both English, Cebuano, and Tagalog
A team player with a drive for excellent service to employees
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical and Emergency Care
Triage employees with health issues and administer medical interventions accordingly
Regularly checks medicines and other medical supplies for their expiration dates and availability
Use medical equipment (e.g. blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter, thermometer) to check vital signs of employees
Provide first aid and emergency care to employees within the scope of nursing responsibilities
Refer employees to appropriate healthcare providers and professionals when necessary
Assist employees who need to be transported to the nearest accredited hospital for immediate care
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for the immediate care of employees as necessary
HMO Administration
Assist employees with their inquiries regarding their HMO utilization
Coordinate with HMO provider for enrollment of new hires and their dependents, removal of resignees, requests for LOE/LOA, HMO cards, HMO mobile app and other relevant operational concerns
Health and Wellness Programs
Ensure strict compliance and administration of Health, Safety, and Social Welfare and Benefits as prescribed in Book IV of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)
Attend seminars, webinars, and training related to industrial medicine and occupational safety and health, hosted and accredited by DOLE and other government agencies;
Assist in the development and implementation of health and wellness programs and activities/events for the benefit of the employees.
Research and develop medical standards, innovative methods, techniques, and approaches in dealing with occupational safety and health problems
Team Contribution
Assess and verify medical certificates, medical results, and other health-related documents submitted by employees
Maintain and update employee health records with utmost confidentiality
Regularly update essential health-related documents and tracking sheets of the company
Create and present health and wellness, HMO, DOLE and OSH reports to the Back Office Manager for review and approval
Ensure timeliness in the submission of health and safety reports to DOLE
Salary range: 25,000-30,000 without certification
Work Arrangement: Full Time Office Set-Up
Work schedule: fixed schedule, 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM (Mondays to Fridays/overtime, weekend, and holiday work only as required)
