JOB SUMMARY
As our Company Nurse your role is to protect every employee against the dangers of injury, sickness & other life-threatening factors through safe & healthful working conditions. Maintain health of employees and dependents through provision of wellness programs & implementation of healthcare services. Prevent occurrence of disease through health information dissemination, safety work practices, identification of health hazards, Surveillance of workers' health in relation to work, render first aid treatment to injured employees.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Renders first aid treatment to injured employees
• Implements the Annual Physical Examination (APE) of qualified employees.
• Issues over-the-counter medicines to relieve physical complaints and does verification for medical certificates submitted.
• Conducts home and hospital visits when necessary.
• Plans, prepares and implement wellness programs - i.e. flu vaccination, cervical cancer vaccination, and other preventive programs/vaccinations.
• Sends out monthly health advisories and reports on clinic data (visitations, cases, etc).
• Create and files employee medical records Submits Medical Reports to the Dept. of Labor & Employment.
• Conducts inventory & requisitions of clinic medicines/supplies..
• Monitors retainer nurses & physicians' services at the clinic as well as their attendance & reporting
• Develops and implements government mandatory health programs together with the HR Team - Drug Testing, PTB in the Workplace, Hepatitis B Awareness, Breast Feeding Program & HIV/AIDS Awareness etc.
• Help the HR Team with the evaluation and application of sickness benefits through government agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the BPO/Contact Center Industry.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
Must be a registered Nurse.
Must be DOLE-accredited Occupational Safety Practitioner.
Must be Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN).
Willing to report in BGC, Taguig.
