Qualifications:
Licensed Nurse
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably with BOSH or OHNAP Training
Must have first aid and BLS Training
Willing to be assigned in Fortune, Marikina (Manufacturing Plant)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the Clinic and provide basic healthcare services to all employees of the Company like giving general first aid and medical assistance when needed along with assessing health risks and promoting health awareness across all employees.
Provide Basic Healthcare - The bulk of a company nurse's day is used by providing basic healthcare needs to a company employee. This includes administering first aid where needed and evaluating employees' overall health.
Administer Prescribed Medication and Treatment - Some employees may have medication and treatment that needs to be administered during work hours. A company nurse is responsible for administering these within the company's medical clinic.
Organize Employee Physicals - Company nurses are responsible for coordinating with the company's healthcare provider to set up annual exams and physicals for all employees. Then, they work with the employees directly to ensure the schedule works well for everyone.
Raise Healthcare Awareness - Company nurse also works closely with employees to raise healthcare awareness. This includes evaluating an employee's health and making lifestyle recommendations to improve their health. They may also hold company-wide meetings to discuss general healthcare tips and recommendations.
Reports on Employee Health - Company nurse provides regular reports to HR Head on sickness, accident-related and other medical related issues. They may also make recommendations and initiatives on health awareness that the company can implement to lower healthcare cost.
Perform other duties and tasks:
Monitor inventory of medical supplies and equipment for Clinic and employees.
Assist Company Physician during examination and treatment of patient if needed.
Monitor daily sick leave records.
Conduct home visit to sick employees when the need arises and bring patient involved in plant accident during emergency cases.
Review, evaluate and process reimbursement/liquidation of hospitalization and medical expenses of all employees.
