We are currently looking for a Company Nurse who can provide professional nursing care to our onsite employees. Treats basic injuries and illnesses, referring patients to emergency care facilities or outside medical resources as needed. Ensures that medical records are properly maintained and held in the strictest confidence and adhere to government regulations.
Provide emergency care and treatment to all employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility in the absence of the company physician. This includes first- aid, checking of vital signs, health interview, dispensing of medicines.
Assess and determine the health status of an employee after an illness in the absence of a company physician. This includes issuance of nursing recommendations (sent home slip or back to work, referrals).
Implement immunization programs. Giving of mass injection during a health threatening situation.
Take care and coordinate functions in the maintenance of environmental sanitation.
Conduct periodic plant rounds to prevent health and safety hazards and create safety awareness among employees.
Orient new employees to medical/ dental benefits, family planning, company rules and regulations in relation to health.
Create a therapeutic environment for employees in health on other related problems thus giving way to health counseling.
Assess the needs of an employee's health education.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Nursing, must be Licensed Nurse
Minimum 1 years working experience preferably in an industrial work set up
Effective verbal and written communications.
Able to communicate with different levels of organization and countries.
Knowledgeable in SSS, Philhealth and HMO regulations
Computer literate in MS Office, Excel, and Powerpoint
