Job description
Summary:
The Company Driver / Messenger provides various transportation services. His responsibilities includes collecting and delivering various packages/documents, ensure proper office housekeeping, cleaning of company vehicle and property maintained vehicle maintenance, and maintaining a travel log to record work hours and travel time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure proper office housekeeping
Run general errands, such as but not limited to, bills payment, bank transactions, collection activities, pick up and/or deliver packages or documents.
Ensure proper documentation of activities by providing official receipts and other documents required for liquidation.
Keep accurate logs and complete paperwork for tasks or activities
Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning, and vehicle maintenance.
Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
Use navigation apps to determine the best route
Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate head
Qualifications:
Education:
Candidate must be at least Highschool or Vocational course graduate
Experience:
At least 8 years of work experience as a Messenger or Company Driver
Skills & Competencies:
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be familiar with Metro Manila routes
Sound knowledge of road safety and regulations
Must be able to utilize maps, GPS systems and card manuals
Ability to manage multiple tasks within given time frames
Must have clean driving record
Effective communication skills
Punctual, honest, and reliable
Good planning and decision-making abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
