Work Summary
Communication Assistant for the activity "Kasali Ako!: Strengthening child participation in the fight against violence against children (VAC) during COVID-19 in the Philippines," a learning session webinar being organized by Fundación Educación y Cooperación - Educo, an international development organization working on child rights and education and the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), the focal inter-agency body of the Philippine Government for children. The Communication Assistant will assist in coordination of Educo's advocacy activities for the National Children's Month 2020.
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance in executing advocacy communication targets of Educo's NCM 2020 celebration, including:
Coordination of production and release of advocacy materials;
Posting of promotional materials, social media cards in Educo's social media;
Hosting of Facebook Live of the November 19 Webinar;
Live tweets during the November 19 Webinar; * Written short feature article highlighting Educo's NCM activities from the regional to national level that will be shared in media platforms
Requirements:
Essential
Relevant experience in communication and advocacy initiatives.
Familiarity with child rights and issues affecting them is an advantage.
Experience in posting promotional materials, social cards.
Experience in writing articles both regional and national level.
