Reporting to the President/CEO, the Communications & Social Media Manager will provide 1) exceptional writing skills especially expertise in social media branding and storytelling; 2)Edit and develop( photography, videos ect.), distribute and post content through all of the subsidiaries social media platforms. The manager will work primarily remotely and periodically video chat with CEO about programs and events. This position has no direct reports.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The range of duties include business, fund, program, and project development, as well as program and relationship management.
Create, manage, and track unique content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter platforms
Develop a digital media campaign under the guidance of the SVP to help broaden shareholder reach and customer awareness
Provide weekly analysis on and thoughtful insight into customer engagement by analyzing Social Studio/Hootsuite data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning digital campaigns to build upon the online community
Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, including specific targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign's performance against the KPIs
Identify digital media events such as an interesting hashtag or a sensitive topic and share appropriate content that aligns with our current social media strategy
Coordinate directly with the SVP in the production and dissemination of information, material, and, where necessary, work with contractors who design, write, or produce materials and gaining review/final approval from SVP
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Communications or Marketing, or equivalent years of related experience required
Proficiency in executing and presenting meetings on virtual platforms (i.e. Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
Prior experience creating original content for internal and/or external audiences
Demonstrated commitment to precision and detail
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with an emphasis on timeliness
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PDF, and PowerPoint
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision remotely
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to think creatively and problem solve
Ability to work with Adobe CC, Blender, Canva, or similar programs for editing
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organization and presentation skills
Ability to adapt to quickly evolving circumstances
Performance Evaluation
The employee will be evaluated for job performance after 90-days of employment and thereafter on an annual basis. Job performance evaluations will be conducted by President/CEO, with input and feedback from the Board.-Requirements- Minimum education level: Senior high school
