Job Functions:
• Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages for Commodity Managers
• Prepare and load spreadsheets for RFQ analysis by Commodity Managers.
• Perform commodity / part price updates in the ERP system(s).
• Perform data base maintenance and miscellaneous duties.
• Monitor and report supplier spend.
• Assists in project execution as needed under leadership of Commodity Managers.
• Assists Commodity Managers in commodity management activities, as needed.
• Supplier Communication and information collection as necessary.
• Prepare spend and other reports as needed.
• Investigate and identify potential suppliers in Southeast Asia and provide recommendation for qualification and addition to
suppliers list.
• May take on responsibility for lower spend, non-strategic commodities in a developmental or permanent capacity.
• Develop variance review process and track price monthly, identify uncaptured savings.
• Measure savings compliance across Direct Sourcing team.
• Responsible for the creation and running of E-Sourcing events.
• Provide support for gathering requirements, supplier recommendation, scheduling and Gate process update.
Job Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Graduate of Supply Chain / Engineering related programs.
• With 1 - 2 years' work experience.
• Detailed oriented and accurate.
• Proficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables), and MS PowerPoint.
• Well-developed analytical skills, articulate, innovative and confident.
• Very good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Self-starter and a strong team player.
