This is an exciting opportunity for a Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling processes relating to trade activity, processing of incoming confirmations received from clients, drafting of invoices, agreeing settlements with clients and brokers and processing payment requests.
You will be joining a team where responsibilities will include: Trade Lifecycle processing and Risks Management, Handling the confirmation processes to ensure economic & non-economic terms are accurately represented on all outgoing confirmations, Settlements of trades, brokerage and custody fees, Liaising with external clients and the CGM Division's Marketers & Traders on technical queries and working with both the local and global CGM Operations team to drive identification and implementation of improvements in operational processes, from a control or efficiency perspective
We want to hear from you if you have: A degree in finance or a related area, as well as relevant professional qualifications or postgraduate degrees are desirable, as is experience in banking in finance, technology, and markets operations; Strong organisational, communication and prioritisation skills, high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail, Enjoy working in a team environment, Enthusiastic, proactive and flexible, Ability to work well under pressure in a high-paced environment, Strong problem solving skills and the aptitude to learn system flows, Understand the importance of controls & procedures within an operational environment, Excellent PC skills with a good understanding of MS Word & Excel, Flexibility around work shifts and working during public holidays as required and Good customer service skills with experience in liaising with internal and external clients
