Job Description
- Individual must display flexibility and capabilities to assist unit to meet reporting deadlines with quality, speed and accuracy. Deadlines include, but are not limited to monthly commissions, assigned schedules for reconciliations and agent requests.
- Associate will be responsible to verify data accuracy and maintain records or files in accordance with standard procedures and methods. May also assist team in various projects as needed.
Job Summary
- Performs varied accounting functions such as data entry, account analysis and reconciliation projects.
- Engage with Employees to accurately resolve all commission inquires.
- Process commission or sales incentive payments for single or multiple lines of business in accordance with provisions established in the commission/sales incentive plans.
- Payments include marketing allowance payments, commission bonus payments, replacement payments for missing checks, out of cycle commission payments, adjustments and chargebacks.
- Ensure proper documentation of the commissions process and related controls.
- Special Projects as needed.
- Ability to work with confidential reports and information with discretion. Skills
- Detail oriented problem solving skills to process, enter and validate commission entries in the commission program timely and accurately.
- Must know how to use Excel. Knowledge of pivot tables, vlookups and complex formulas a plus.
- Math experience preferred
- Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills to provide professional verbal and written communications when interacting with our internal and external Agents to analyze and resolve routine processing problems.
Qualifications
Experience
- Typically 4-5 years of work experience in commissions, financial services, accounting or related field.
- Three years related accounting experience with studies in business or accounting/finance preferred.
