Position Overview:
Currently there are many identified commercial opportunities and challenges in each BIG market that are not addressed properly as the commercial capabilities are low in both sales and specially in the commercial support group.
This role will lead the development of Commercial and Sales capabilities across BIG to meet current and future business and market needs based on world class bottling and FMCG processes.
This role will also design, develop, implement and manage global commercial (RTM, RGM, W@POS, GT, MT) curricula for Bottling Investments Group (BIG) across all businesses in order to accelerate the development of BIG commercial team, drive desired operating culture and grow a pipeline of talent for today and tomorrow.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate in the definition of commercial competencies
Create a methodology to identify competency gaps across all BIG commercial support and sales functions
Create BIG commercial curricula
Identify best commercial practices and coordinate the creation of commercial training methods (e-learning, gamification, business cases, etc) and materials (playbooks, templates, etc)
Launch specific programs to bridge the competencies and skills gaps
Establish monitoring processes over capability building
Update capability building strategy to meet new requirements
Create and nurture the commercial community to foster innovation, best practice sharing, learnings and create a sense of functional belonging
Focus on development of the Commercial and Sales Capability team (Sales Trainers, Area Capability Development Mangers) i.e. to equip them with necessary skills to drive the capability building agenda for the commercial organization.
Provide guidance & ongoing feedback to enhance performance & engagement of the commercial teams across all markets in BIG.
Identify & coach high performers for a fast track career progression / succession planning from frontliners to commercial directors
