Job Description
Your team
In this role you will work within Chief Information Security Office in close collaboration with our software development and engineering teams providing cloud services internally as well as to clients to sustainably design, build and maintain our cloud security framework.
This includes technical controls, processes and procedures. You help to secure our cloud workloads by designing security concepts and by taking end to end ownership for cloud security solutions from build to run. This can include cloud provider native tooling, but also third-party security solutions complementing native capabilities as strategic a pillar. Due to flat hierarchies, you will work with the leadership team on a daily basis and can influence Avaloq' s cloud security roadmap for the next years.
You are part of a global organization with local footprint and will ensure the implementation of a holistic end-2-end security approach across the organization, also taking on ownership of operational cloud security matters in your remit.
Your mission
Designing and building cloud security concepts together with other functions in our organisation
Manage cloud security relevant aspects for regulatory relevant audits or certifications, CSA STAR
Evaluation of new cloud security solutions as part of a continuous improvement cycle
Build & run security tooling for cloud workloads
Work with the stakeholders in Software Development, Architecture and Corporate to identify, assess and remediate security risks
Act as a facilitator and advisor to drive collaboration in the security space
Establish a security-aware culture and manage security incidents together with the operational teams
Qualifications
What you need
5 years experience in cloud security, ideally AWS and MS Azure
Cloud security relevant certifications from cloud providers or CCSP
Engineering mindset with a solid security background & understanding
