JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE: Cloud Platform EngineerLOCATION:WFHResponsibilities:. A Cloud Platform Engineer is an IT Professional responsible for any duties associatedwith cloud computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance andsupport. Cloud Engineer is a general term encompassing a few different roles.
Responsibilities:⚫ Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems⚫ Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices⚫ Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordancewith company security policies and best practices in cloud security⚫ Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and applicationdeployment issues⚫ Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements⚫ Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations basedon client needsQualifications andRequirementso 3-5 years of work experience as Cloud Engineer.o Must have skills/experience:
Public cloud platform: AWS▪ AWS Tower control▪ AWS Organizations
Public cloud platform: Azure▪ Azure Networking (ie. ExpressRoute, site-to-site VPN, VNETs,PrivateEndpoints)▪ FrontDoor experience
Terraform
IDE and GIT
Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
Agile Deliveryo Nice to have:
GCP
Phyton coding
CIS and NIST
AWS▪ Account Factory for Terraform
▪ AWS networking (ie. Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPC routetables)▪ High availability and Disaster Recovery application andarchitecture▪ AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solutions-Architect certifications
Azure▪ Azure subscription set-up, key vaults, blob storage▪ Azure fundamentals or Azure Administrator certification
GCP▪ High-speed interconnect setup experience▪ Apigee X▪ GoogleMaps and Google ReCaptcha▪ Google Foundational, Associate or Professional certifications
