Responsible for driving Modular Automations in sprint along with development. As a result, all Automation development activity must be completed and certified by the end of the same sprint and not after the fact. These Modular developments will be picked up by Release Architects/SDETs for creating E2E Automation scripts, by plugging them together as required. Triaging in-sprint defects, Joining Scrum rituals (Grooming, Standup, Retrospective, Spike grooming etc), Reporting overall Sprint certification execution status with Scrum team and Management. Must contribute towards a consistent TDD approach, and adopt stringent Quality Engineering practices within the team. Responsible for early identification, requesting and creation of Test Data for upcoming sprints. Discuss sprint Test Strategy with Scrum team, Architect, E2E Primes and Release Architect, such that all critical test activity completes in time, with No or minimum carry over to next sprint. Measure sprint test velocity, and make continuous improvements towards consistently increasing the test run rate with controlled headcount. Should help in optimizing the Quality Certification scope between sprint & End to End testing. Work along with Telus Release Architect, End to End Primes to achieve maximum optimization and smart test coverage.
