About Us:GECO Philippines, part of the GECO Asia Group of Companies, is a specialist IT Consulting Services company with headquarters in Singapore and two delivery centers in the Philippines.Position: Cloud ArchitectWe are seeking a proactive and skilled Cloud Azure/AWS Architect to join our Technical Services and IT Security Shared Services team. This role is crucial for implementing new and improving existing cloud environments to support our growing infrastructure services across the region.As a core member of the team, you will be key in the architecture, support, maintenance, implementation, administration, and lifecycle management of our Azure and AWS environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing resilient cloud architecture, providing escalation support, and ensuring the stability and performance of our cloud platforms.Job Requirements & Qualifications:
Must Have:
Azure Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in Azure environment administration and troubleshooting.
IaC/DevOps: Proven ability to build Azure environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform).
Experience with server migrations from on-premises to Azure.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server operating systems.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD, Visual Studio).
Certifications (Preferred):Azure Administrator or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
Good to Have:
Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS.
Scripting skills (Terraform, CLI, Python preferred).
General knowledge of infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, networking).
Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools.
Key Competencies:
Experience: 5-7 years of infrastructure experience, with at least 1-3 years as an Azure administrator.
Communication:Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Collaboration: Strong team player with an ability to collaborate across departments.
Mindset:Self-motivated, customer service-oriented, and eager to grow in the IT profession.
Problem-Solving:Analytical and business-aware approach to problem-solving.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Create comprehensive architecture and design documentation for new and existing cloud infrastructure.
Build, deploy, and manage secure Azure environments in compliance with defined standards, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Provide strong operational support, including troubleshooting, incident, and problem management.
Ensure platform stability, performance, and lifecycle management for both Azure and AWS environments.
Provide technical solutions for new projects and infrastructure improvements.
