The opportunity:
The Cloud Applications Intern is an individual contributor who will create and update technical specifications, forms and maps using OpenText translation software, carry out integration tasks to deploy forms and maps to pre-production environments, and setup Trading Partner connectivity using common communications standards such as ftp, http, AS2, and SFTP.
You are great at:
Engages the client to obtain EDI requirements, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of map packages and requirements documentation while developing and maintaining good customer relations
Analyzes customer ERP interfaces and data requirements
Delivers day to day implementation requests of Trading Partners and map configurations into the OpenText Managed Services systems
Implements changes for existing data integrations
Follows policies and best practices when defining map rules based on client's requirements
Consistently creates test case scenarios and form test files. Runs tests and evaluates results.
Investigates and conducts root-cause-analysis for issues/defects raised by clients during testing
Delivers project status updates to clients, delivery/project managers and counterparts as necessary
Performs other duties as assigned
What it takes:
Educational Requirement: Graduating in Computer Science degree/other technical discipline or equivalent experience
Programming knowledge with any of the following: Perl, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc.
Quick learner and able to retain a broad range of information in a rapid and complex technical environment
Ability to make sound and well-informed decisions and understand their impact and implications.
Demonstrate problem solving skills and logical thinking techniques and have excellent attention to detail. Ability to Identify and analyze problems; distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical decisions; provide solutions to individual and organizational problems. Develop reasonable options for solutions.
Excellent Teamwork/Collaboration skills; Inspires and motivates others toward goal accomplishments; develops and sustains cooperative working relationships
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently. Must possess effective time management skills.
Must have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skill
Must be willing to work on any shifts (can be ASPAC, EMEA or US)
