Executive Recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading Management Consulting Company in Southeast Asia. Our reputable client is looking for Cloud Application Architect, office located in Makati City, Philippines.
About The Role:
Work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution
Ability to review and design end-to-end modern application architecture
Review and design the architecture of cloud (Azure/AWS) native services
Responsible to ensure the delivered application is according to the application architecture design
Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders
Responsible to conduct pilot deployment or application pilot migration leveraging on cloud-native tools or 3rd party tools
Ability to showcase understanding of DevOps, CICD and conduct pilot deployment or hands-on demo
Managing and overseeing the delivery and execution of multiple simultaneous delivery engagement teams on all Application Modernization work for customer engagements
Conducting technical assessments and presenting recommendations to enterprise clients as a technical subject matter expert in the capability area;
Leading resource allocation and delivery management with a mix of offshore and onshore development teams, architects and development resources;
Collaborating with Operations and Practice Leaders on tracking resource capacity, and workforce optimization.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or foreign equivalent from a recognized university.
At least 5 years in modern application architecture
At least completed 5 full project lifecycle
Must have strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail
Be able to work independently and ensure strict timelines are met without continuous technical supervision
Knowledge of TDD and various concepts of testing and test automation tools e.g. Selenium is advantageous
Experience in using cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and configuration
Experience in programming with Python, C#, PowerShell, Java
Past consulting background and experience in working with business and technical stakeholders will be desirable
Candidates with team management experience will be considered for the Team Lead role
Mandatory to have Microsoft Azure Architect / Microsoft Azure Developer certification
