Customer Care Specialist - Nurse
Job Summary
The Customer Care Specialist - Nurse may encounter a wide range of health concerns and will see patients of all ages.
When patients arrive at the clinic, they are expected to provide a friendly greeting, collect patient information, perform initial physical assessment before the patients see Physicians, and provide treatment after a diagnosis has been made. The CCS - Nurse also collects specimens such as blood, stool or urine samples for diagnostic procedures. They also play a key role in promoting wellness by educating the patient and their family members, and communities in health maintenance and disease prevention.
The CCS - Nurse also assists the Pharmacist and complies with the good dispensing practices, and shares the responsibility of selling and promoting retail -related activities to achieve sales target. The CCS - Nurse may also act as officer-in-charge in the absence of the Clinic Supervisor.
Education and Experience Required
• Must possess Professional License in Nursing issued by the Philippine Regulatory Commission - Board of Nursing.
• Experience working in a hospital or multi-specialty clinic is an advantage.
• Customer service oriented and can work under pressure.
• Willing to undergo Phlebotomy and Pharmacy Assistant training.
Skills and Competencies Required
• Patient-focused approach in providing care and services
• Clinical skills like immunization and vaccination, minor surgery and phlebotomy
• Proficiency in using MS Office applications and other business intelligence tools
• Able to respond appropriately even in stressful situations
• Able to work with minimal or without direct supervision
• Can handle confidential / sensitive information
• Above average oral and written communication skills
• With good work ethics and highly adaptable
