· Provide direct services to employees, using the nursing process to provide care to the community in accordance with CSMC medical practice and nursing standards.
· Perform and/or oversee mandated patient screenings and completes referrals and follow-up where applicable.
· Manage and control acute and chronic disease.
· Maybe assigned in the triage from time to time.
· Carry out policies and procedures for the control of communicable diseases.
· Provide first aid for illness or injury to employees and documents nursing assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
· Review and monitor employee immunization status. Make appropriate referrals to up-date immunizations when indicated.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive employee health service program for employees, following the health guidelines of the Meralco Wellness Center;
· Assist with Meralco Management and CWC physicians in planning and organizing the employee health program.
· Provide up-to-date health information for use of Meralco personnel on such subjects as the first aid practice, accident prevention, communicable disease regulations and assists in educating each employee on health and other medical concerns.
· Use data collected to help plan and evaluate the employee health program.
· May establish health care plans for employees with special health care needs and update them as needed.
· Provide health teaching and counseling.
· Maintain comprehensive health records on each employee.
· Administer medications and performs procedures according to physician orders and company policies and procedures.
· Ensure physician orders for individual employee medications and/or treatments comply with requirements for administration.
· Inform management of health conditions of employees which may affect work performance, behavior or appearance.
· Coordinate and assist endorsement of patients from the CWC Emergency Room to CWC Duty Physicians or CSMC ER for check-up or admission when necessary.
