Role/Department Description:
Sales Engineering is expanding our authentication and authorization capabilities due to strong demands from clients to help drive forward their Digital Transformation initiatives. We are seeking a knowledgeable, dynamic Client Provisioning Implementation Analyst who can work collaboratively with provisioning engineers and clients, ensuring smooth and successful onboarding and support experiences for our authentication and authorization processes, as well as perform quality assurance on a variety of FactSet APIs.
With advanced in-house engineering focused on Cognitive, Analytics, Content Collection + Generation, and Digital capabilities - FactSet is a technology leader in real-time and compute-intensive market data across the front, middle and back offices. Operating meshed regional datacenters servicing millions of users in over 20 countries requires scalable, robust architecture, which Sales Engineering positions as a critical partner for the world's largest financial institutions. FactSet Client Provisioning Implementation Analysts help our clients solve their most significant challenges using technology.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsible for onboarding clients using FactSet's Provisioning APIs and Federation technologies as well as day-to-day support of these items.
Responsible for incrementing and developing support documents and streamlining processes
Contribute to the overall quality assurance of FactSet API's by testing and providing regular functional feedback to development teams
Propose correction and clarification updates to API documentation
Skills & Experience
2-3 Years proven track record providing Technical Support/Troubleshooting
Comfort with client-facing technical writing skills
Experience with REST APIs, SAML2.0 and OAUTH is a plus but not a requirement
Fundamental knowledge of browser technologies (HTTP-Response types and HTTP-Methods). Should be able to read the browser's DEV-Console. Fiddler experience a plus.
Ability to develop a broad understanding of FactSet's platform offerings across the full suite of our solutions including applications, content, technology, managed services, workflow solutions and professional services
Must be a self-starter with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and embody an entrepreneurial spirit
