About the Role
As a Specialist Client Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team of specialists involved in the delivery of training and audits to various organizations. You will be working closely with BSI clients to help improve their performance by providing training services, as well as assessing their systems against applicable standards.
As Tutor:
Designs, develops, conducts, and evaluates training, capacity building programs, and Enterprise Training Solutions (ETS) programs using Lean Six Sigma, Six Sigma, Lean, and other related business excellence (OE) methodologies and tools such as BPM, Kaizen, TQM, TPM, 5S, Visual Management, Automotive Industry's Core Tools, 8D, 7 QC Tools, PS-A3, and the likes. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), this may include the design and development of these programs that can be globally released across BSI Group. SME undertakings shall include, at a minimum:
Gap assessment
Guidance in developing, implementing, and maintaining a documented Business Excellence system
Process improvement project coaching and mentoring
Process improvement project tollgate reviews
Awareness training for Executives, Managers, and Non-Managers
Business Excellence methodology (i.e., Lean Six Sigma, etc.) implementation coaching
Conducts training needs analysis develops training solutions in partnership with clients and is ultimately responsible for its delivery, involves both as an active tutor and overall program manager
Leads in advising clients for training solutions that are aimed at achieving their strategic and/or operational goals ranging from ISO management systems to Business Excellence training programs and interventions, such as Lean Six Sigma and soft skills training programs
Plans and undertakes management system (MS) training courses and services to clients as contractually required. Services include, at a minimum:
Gap assessment,
1st and 2nd party audit,
Guidance in developing, implementing and maintaining a documented management system, and
Training Internal Auditors in planning, conducting and reporting of internal audit activities
Delivers public training courses and in-house training solutions in highly specialist areas to the BSI standards of excellence, in order to develop knowledge and skills
Delivers BSI training courses in highly specialized areas of Quality and Business Excellence in a manner that ensures that value is added to customers and their business/organization
Advises customers of BSI solutions and services to ensure their needs are met during training sessions
Provides delegates with information on how the training is aligned to the overall customer journey with BSI to raise customer awareness.
Delivers excellent training courses/solutions and day-to-day interactions with customers and other key stakeholders to continually enhance the reputation and perception of BSI.
Provides feedback to support course development in line with the new course and existing product development process.
Provides assistance with the design of training solutions (e.g. classroom, electronic, correspondence, mentoring, coaching) to improve the quality and range of the training offered
Maintains and enhances appropriate professional qualification status in relevant highly specialized disciplines to keep up to date in own area of expertise.
Proactively engages with peers and key stakeholders to ensure continual improvement, in line with the BSI standards of excellence for training delivery.
As Assessor:
Carries out Assessments of clients Management Systems to ensure that they meet the requirements of International Standards, such as but not limited to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Conducts various types of audits as Team Leader or Team Member
Together with the audit team, prepares assessment reports and present audit outcomes to clients clearly for them to be able to understand and take appropriate actions, as necessary.
Delivers Training courses (Public or In-House) to clients on various topics and sharing knowledge and expertise to meet client expectations.
Provides assistance and feedback with the design of training solutions and support in course development.
Builds relationships with clients and promote BSI's product offering and solutions align with their needs, by providing technical support during client engagement together with the sales team.
For this role, we are looking for someone who has the following experience and expertise:
Completed a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Sciences, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
Must be a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience in the manufacturing and/or services sector, as demonstrated by a comprehensive knowledge of business processes and systems
Can demonstrate thorough technical knowledge and can speak the language of the business
Excellent skills in process and project management methods (such as Lean Six Sigma, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, etc) as well as a deep understanding of process design, mapping, and evaluation Formal professional certification on any of the methodologies mentioned above is an advantage
Experience in working/implementing ISO Management System Standards is an advantage
Completed Lead Auditor Course on any of the following: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. Other standards will also be an advantage
Third-party Certification Body (CB) experience as Auditor / Lead Auditor will be an advantage
Strong presentation skills and can communicate effectively at all levels within a client's organization and BSI and can demonstrate high-level interpersonal skills
Can work with minimal supervision and proven administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage customer expectations
