Position Summary:
Perform complex transactions regarding claims and returns requests and process corresponding credits and/or denials. Work closely with other departments to resolve disputed claims or debits and monitor system for outstanding deductions. As a Claims Coordinator II, your responsibilities focus on investigating and problem solving for customers. You may deal with a wide range of situations and should feel comfortable working through conflict and directing others. Your duties require you to investigate and gather all relevant information to the claims brought forth. Primary liaison in Customer Care for internal and external customers that have questions related to the status of a credit for returned material or credit though short payment of invoices. In any situation, your goal is to tactfully negotiate and reach a resolution where both parties are satisfied.
Major Responsibilities:
Perform more complex research of debits for customer claims and returns and process the corresponding credits and/or denials
Approve/deny all returns based on policy, appeal denied return items, assist with dispute resolution
Review debit information, make direct calls to customer to obtain missing information.
Monitor outstanding deductions and reconcile balances.
Make strategic recommendations on a return by reviewing the current inventory level and usage of each part.
Identify critical return/claim issues and report any recurring issues to the concerned department (such as Quality, Shipping, Marketing, and Engineering) to mitigate further risks.
Reviews final disposition on returns from Quality and Return Goods receiving and release credit.
Notify distribution center of shipping discrepancies.
Responsible for distributing credit copies and supporting documents.
Escalate issues and concerns to management
Provide a seamless customer experience though expertise, ownership, accountability, and responsiveness to customer inquiries.
Coordinates Annual Returns
Visual Daily Management creation/maintenance and feedback to management team
Identifying High Bars for RMA (Return Material Authorization and Credit Memo Request) and communicating continuous improvement opportunities
Resolving customer complaints, disputes, as well as identifying and managing the risk factors that lead to them.
Process credits, handle disputes, and investigate invoice statuses.
Confirmation of material pricing for Scrap Fund Policy for Trailblazers and designated distributors
Works in SAP or Oracle
Works in SAP Dispute Management
Write denial letters to customer for debits/claims that are denied.

Qualifications
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
4 Year College Degree
Business degree / background, optional
Customer Service Experience (optional)
PC skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, E-mail/Outlook, Internet/Intranet for business functions
Above average spoken and written communication skills
Ability to handle varying workloads
SAP preferred
SAP Dispute Management preferred
Travel: Not Required
