Conducting fieldwork and data collection essential for the project, attending coordination meetings, and participating in conference meetings within the team or with the client are integral aspects of the job. Additionally, assisting in the preparation of project reports and monitoring project compliance during the construction supervision phase are key responsibilities.
Assist in the International and Senior Environmental Safeguard Specialist;
Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of EMP and negative impacts on the environment caused by the construction works and provide technical advice, including a feasible solution.
Provide support to the Senior Environmental Safeguard Specialist in assisting DPWH on facilitating stakeholders participation (including focal group discussions for vulnerable PAPs)and providing feedback on their comments on the EMP and EMOP;
Provide support to the Senior Environmental Safeguard Specialist in assisting DPWH in monitoring the compliance with conditions stated in the ECC and the requirements under EMP and JICA Environmental Guidelines;
Provide support reviewing the EMP and its revision, if required so;
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Sanitary or Environmental Engineering, or relevant degree.
Computer literate.
At least 1 year of experience
