Job Description:
JP Morgan's industry-leading commercial card offering includes Virtual Card, Purchasing Card, Corporate Card (T&E), and One Card products.
As a Senior Product Enhancement and Development Manager, you will be leading the delivery of enhancements to our end-to-end client and/or cardholder experience
You will participate in, support and lead end-to-end product enhancement projects and manage development of new product constructs. This includes managing product managers through their projects as well as leading and/or supporting product development, product definition, product controls, evolution of our development / end-to-end customer experience / compliance models and external partner engagement.
Responsibilities include:
Lead specific product and related infrastructure enhancements and new product development
Manage integration with firmwide platforms and/or external platforms (e.g., Fintechs, Visa/Mastercard network capabilities, processor capabilities)
Implement product definition on external platform
Lead and support product concept development. The scope of work will include: concept assessment, business case development, client impact measurement and documentation, concept prioritization, as well as documentation of the intended end-to-end customer experience.
Manage and support end-to-end testing of the client experience driven by the processor/external partner
Support New Business Initiative Approval efforts
Manage and supervise small team of local product managers
Qualifications:
The points below have been carefully considered as being essential for the role. Your background must accurately reflect all of these for your application to be considered.
5+ years' experience in product development and/or product management and/or client/program implementation and/or business analysis and/or project management. A combination of experience across two or more of these functions is a strong plus.
Ability to lead multiple product initiatives with end-to-end customer experience in focus
Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication, in particular to demonstrate product hierarchy, product configuration/parametrization to diverse set of stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization in a collaborative manner
Attention to detail: much of the work we undertake with our processing partner requires deep detail
Ability to support multiple initiatives in parallel
Experience with integration work with external providers of product functionality (e.g., FinTechs, processors, transaction service providers) is a strong plus
Familiarity with payments is a plus
Experience with a commercial card processor environment (e.g., TSYS) is a strong plus
Experience with Agile methodology is a plus
Experience with driving results with external partners is a plus
