Job Description:
As a Cash Operations Transaction Processing Manager, you'll Manage the day to day Operations for the Payments Processing Function while managing the Electronic Payment team for Asia Cash Operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day Operations for the Payments Processing Function.
Provide overall supervision / leadership to the staff during his/ her shift operating window.
Escalate deliverable delays. Create and engage in project plans, drive accountability, and ensure target deliverable dates are achievable by the global operations team
Organize cross functional meetings to review tasks and deliverables with the appropriate team members
Monitor and report shift and site/ shift performance.
Review staffing and volume trends to ensure the optimal capacity plan is in place.
Foster information sharing so that continuity of data exists within the site and across the business.
Constant and regular review of processes and performance with focus on improving departmental competency and performance rating.
Regular reviews of procedures assuring new processes are documented
Identify business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables
Constant and regular review for direct reports. Set expectations with direct reports, regarding positive motivation and leading through accountability.
Develop and lead a team that is responsive to dynamic organizational and operational changes.
Foster and champion High Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment.
Be able to identify control gaps and provide commensurate controls to task accordingly
May act as back-up for any function that maybe assigned from time to time.
Be able to deliver administrative tasks assigned on time.
Drive progress on tasks and action items through regular status meetings with business partners
Support the management of multiple initiatives in varying stages simultaneously
Work collaboratively with team members and cross functional groups
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Experience and a strong working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations
Working/Expert Knowledge of SWIFTS & international payment conventions & practices is a must
Keen understanding of currency cut - offs, involved risks and ability to prioritize and redistribute the work load within the team
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills
Strong operational knowledge and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize, drive results, and influence team members in a cross functional, diverse environment
Ability to multi-task and deliver against tight deadlines
Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels
Ability to work under pressure
Excellent written & oral communication skills in English
Proven leadership and people management skills
Proven ability to build strong business relationships within the site and across the business
A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through
Ability to create controls and revise existing one to ensure unit is in compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues
Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills
Knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Bachelor's Degree is preferred for this role
