CIB Operations in DKS Manila covers a wide range of activities. Following the buying and selling of financial products and services by the bank, we ensure that each transaction is captured accurately and in a timely manner to ensure effective risk management, cleared, documented and confirmed, settled and reconciled, all within a tightly controlled environment in adherence with global regulatory requirements. We support the following operations:
Debt Trading (FI) , FX and Derivatives
Markets Clearing & Collateral Management (MCCM)
Regulatory and Control Cross Product Operations (RCP)

Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate with extensive years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking experience. Exposure to Markets Operations, Securities Services or similar is preferred but not mandatory. As an Operations Manager, the candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a department made up of several teams, responsible for oversight and management of those groups. The role is expected to learn and develop a good understanding of the business, process and/or product.
The candidate will be responsible for generating & managing the Confirmations (contractual agreements with Clients for Trades) process for CIB for FX, Rates and Credit Derivatives transactions/ trades recorded by the bank. Documentations process is a critical part of the Trade Life Cycle and also serves as important control activity. The team serves locations across APAC and the role requires interaction and engagement with stakeholders, Technology and Audit. The role is expected to manage operations including review of contractual Client agreements, lead system upgrades, transformation programs, risk and control.
The role is critical to ensure seamless operations, implementation of DICE (global system for Confirmations), efficiency programs and delivery for Clients.
Your key responsibilities
Providing input/s into the creation of the Bank's strategic goals; Provide direction and Manage performance of the team; Drive transformation and continuous improvement, lead programs or projects.
Manage and foster relationships with various stakeholders and/or vendors; Create robust management and team structures through rigorous recruitment & people development initiatives, ensuring the team is positioned well to execute a high standard of delivery and results within a controlled environment.
Serve as an escalation point for department, controls, key process and risk indicators; accountable for budgets, vendor relationship and cost management; Lead by example in supporting the Bank wide regulatory agenda, recognition and management of risk.
Managing and supporting Audits (internal and external); Lead and manage change programs; responsible for the performance of teams, supervisors and individual contributors.
Ensure risk indicators, controls, service level agreements and vendor management are adhered to and evidenced; this includes creating a strong culture of risk mitigation and management.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent with extensive years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking;
Preferably with exposure to Markets Operations, Securities Services or similar with experience in leading and managing a department made up of several teams and the ability to provide oversight and management of these groups;
Experience managing Confirmations (contractual agreements with Clients for Trades) process for CIB for FX, Rates and Credit Derivatives transactions/ trades recorded by the bank
Ability to learn and develop a good understanding of the business, process and/or product; Extensive leadership and management skills, analytical skills and strong stakeholder management
