Job Description:
The Metrics team is a Shared Services utility in support of Corporate and Investment Bank LOBs in the business of gathering/collecting, consolidating, analyzing/validating data that is required to produce daily/weekly/monthly LOB scorecards, and dashboards and ad hoc reporting to senior management in an accurate and timely manner, in accordance with business SLAs and best practice.
The candidate will provide Management Information analysis and reporting in a 24 X 5 environment. The candidate will be directly responsible for the day to day operations, including daily data access/control and report/dashboard generation in the LOB assigned. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components within each LOB and meet the reporting goals and objectives set by the business, while partnering globally with the regions to implement technical change and process efficiencies, ensuring the escalation of issues to the next level as required.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly report delivery; all reports are delivered with a high level of timeliness and quality/accuracy.
Shall serve as one of the key stakeholders representing the Metrics team when interfacing with various business areas globally.
Collaborate with global business partners to achieve reporting efficiencies, global consistency on metrics, and execute projects.
Analyze trends and metrics commentaries to make appropriate recommendations to management.
Assist or Lead key project reports, Senior Executive packs, Strategy documents etc.
Drive and execute automation of current reporting processes via available tools (e.g. SharePoint, MS Access, Excel VBA, Business Objects, Qlikview, Tableau, Alteryx etc.)
Essential Skills & Experience
Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree (preferably a degree in Business, Finance or MIS).
5 years of experience in scorecard/metrics, MIS reporting or similar quantitative work experience is required using tools such as but not limited to MS Access, MS Excel, Tableau, Business Objects and Alteryx etc.
Can cope with shifting schedules, should show flexibility to be assigned to work on holidays / extended working hours on high volume days as required.
Proven track record in the following areas: project management, relationship building, global stakeholder management, and process improvement.
Numerical thought process. Meticulous attention to detail. Able to ask relevant question to key stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills as this role will liaise with global senior leaders.
Results oriented. Able to deliver timely, accurate, thorough, and high quality work
Able to work independently. Familiar with a global fast paced environment.
