J.P. Morgan is seeking a talented candidate who has extensive corporate design experience and a strong understanding of Graphic Design as a midweight designer. The successful candidate will have a diverse range of design capabilities covering print, video and online publishing. High energy, attention-to-detail, organizational skills, and the ability to execute on tight deadlines are essential attribute, whilst working in a fast-paced environment, teamwork and good communication are critical. The Graphic Designer will provide high-level design work for various sales proposals, presentations, and support materials.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Develop various sales and communication materials, including videos, motion graphics, print and digital brochures and online publishing etc.
Maintain brand standards across all marketing and communication platforms
Identify and place all visual elements of a project, including illustrations, photography, and font styles to produce effective communication pieces
Create multimedia sequences to carry sales messaging and video editing
Consult with necessary team members and stakeholders (RMs/Sales) to properly produce materials
Review all creative materials to ensure they meet company standards
Build creative files to the proper specifications necessary for any media output
Lead creative efforts on multiple projects
Ensure creative deadlines are met by working effectively under pressure project managing from inception to completion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in graphic designing, visual arts, advertising, or in a related field.
More than 2 years' experience in graphic designing, preferably working on finance-focused marketing projects. Advertising agency experience is preferred, but not required.
Proficient working on both Windows and Mac operating platforms.
Knowledge of art-working for print and design principle is essential
Experience of design for digital deliveries and channel
Working knowledge with online publishing and Content Management System (CMS)
Mastery of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
Highly proficient and with advanced knowledge in video editing, effects, and motion graphics i.e. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
Extensive knowledge of graphic design and typographic rules and trends
Strong ability for branding and identity creation
Excellent sense of color, space, and navigation
Effective project and time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced team environment
Extremely detail-oriented and superior communication skills
Experience of this shift pattern required
Online portfolio (preferred) or print samples required for consideration.
