The primary responsibilities of the Managed Funds team is:
Processing of authorised client instructions for Managed Fund set ups & proxy voting for investments into Unlisted Unit Trusts, Hedge Funds and Private Equity Assets in a timely manner.
· Static data setup and maintenance.
Asset due diligence & classification aligned to safekeeping policies.
Client query resolution related to instructed templates .
Asset and other static data set up and maintenance on the various internal systems.
EOD reporting and controls to ensure all tasks/instructions completed with SLA.
The Role
Fund Servicing roles are responsible for providing operational service related to fund accounting and administration, benefit payment services, compliance reporting services, investment analytics and consulting, financial and valuation reporting, investment operations outsourcing services, transfer agency services, or trust and fiduciary services. This may require working closely with operations, financial controllers, external vendors, and consultants.
Responsibilities
Acts as subject matter expert in fund servicing operations across multiple processes and policies.
Responsible for publishing metrics, analyzing trends, resolving and escalating aging issues or risk items.
Handles a mix of routine and non-routine transactions or document reviews following documented procedures.
Reviews procedures and develops process enhancements.
Implements change management and business strategy.
Uses independent judgment as well as technical, operational, and regulatory experience to resolve exceptions or propose solutions.
Provide indirect supervision for functional tasks.
