This role sits within the front office and will be working in a dynamic and busy trading floor environment. The primary responsibility of the Equity Research Analyst is to support the senior analysts conduct in-depth fundamental equity research analysis, and prepare written research reports and presentation materials
Job Description
Key Responsibilities covered by these areas:
● Assist in making industry and company analysis
● Arrange and run company meetings
● Conduct financial modeling, analysis, and projection
● Assist in running valuation analysis
● Create and maintain industry/macro database
● Assist in writing research reports and preparation of marketing presentation materials
● Perform other research-related responsibilities like client facing activities, events organization, etc. from time to time
Your Background:

● Graduate of relevant 4-5 year college/university course preferably business, economics, or finance courses
● One to two years of relevant experience in investment management or research-related field/companies
● Strong numerical, analytical skills
○ Can efficiently and independently gather data, and present in graphical formats easily understandable to users
○ Can define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid concise conclusions
○ Solid basic excel skills is required
○ Basic accounting skills is required
● Excellent verbal/presentation and written communication skills
● Strong multi-tasking skills
● Ability work in a fast-paced and team environment
● Enthusiasm for investment analysis and equity market analysis
● Self-starter, independent, and proactive
● Advanced Excel skills is a plus
Languages:
English fluency is essential for this role
