Job Description:
As a Transaction Processing Manager, you'll be responsible for the operational management and control of the daily workflow within Custody Operations - Cash Processing Team.
Responsibilities:
Manage the workflow through the life cycle of Payments and Receipts.
Operational management and control of the daily workflow within the Cash Processing team
Ensure that all manual instructions are processed with 100% accuracy and timeliness
Ensure that all market, currency and task cut offs are met.
Prioritize high value transactions and urgent clients.
Perform review on process controls to ensure that they are up-to-date and ensure that they are implemented
Escalate issues to management upon discovery
Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning and ensure team structure is robust through effective training and succession planning
Continued review of content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activities
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Understanding of the importance of meeting cut - offs and the involved risks
Has the ability to prioritize and redistribute the work loads within the team.
Strong people management skills, ability to lead and motivate managers
Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes
Strong risk and control awareness, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines
Confident communicator in all mediums with both internal and external clients
Strategic thinker, ability to review and implement process improvements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
Shift Schedule: M-F 7am-4pm Local Time
